FUNAAB Releases 2012/2013 Post UTME Results, check yours now

Although many businesses are unaware, there is a free and easy way to advertise your business for free on Google. In fact, not only can you advertise for free, but your business will typically show up on the first page of results when users search for terms that you enter in your profile. The way to accomplish this is to set up your business on Google Places which is Google’s solution to the local business directory. Then, results like the following show up with your business information as a result of a relative search entry:

Like many of Google’s applications, it is free to list your local business with Google Places. It is also pretty simple and can be set up in just a few minutes. Here’s what you need to do:

• Go to google.com/places and click ‘Google Places for Business’
• Create a Google account or log on with one you already have (associated with your business)
• Click the ‘list your business’ button
• Enter your business phone number (Google will check if it already has information on  your business)

You will then be taken to a form to fill out the following:

• Basic information (country, address, website, etc.)
• Service areas
• Hours of operations
• What payment options you accept (cash, check, credit…)
• An opportunity to add photos and videos to your listing
• Additional details (parking, brands carried, etc.)

Once you get done entering this information, you are ready to submit your data to Google who will then verify that you are the owner of the business by calling the number you provided during normal business hours. Of course it’s a good idea to cue in all employees that are likely to answer the phone that Google Places will be calling to verify ownership so that everyone knows what to expect. Once  your Google submission has been verified, visitors to  your Google Places page will see a green tick mark and statement proclaiming that yours is an ‘owner verified listing’. Anyway, this is a pretty nifty way to get free local advertising on the first page of Google, so if you haven’t already done so, go ahead and reach out and grab that low hanging Inbound Marketing fruit!

ANSU Post UTME 2012 /2013 Screening Exam Date is out!

ANSU Post UTME 2012 /2013 Exam Date is out. This examination is for those candidates who chose ANSU as their first choice (only) of university and scored 180 and above in the 2012 JAMB UTME examination.

The ANSU Post UTME 2012 /2013 Exam will be held on the 16^th of June, 2012 (Saturday)

The Uli and Igbariam Campuses of the University

How to Register for the ANSU Post UTME 2012/2013 Exam:

Qualified candidates are required to pay the sum of Four thousand and Two Hundred Naira Only (N4, 200.00) to the following banks nationwide:

• Fidelity Bank
• Zenith Bank
• ECO Bank

The N4, 200.00 fees covers for the following:

Screening Test fee – N1, 000

Accessing of result – N1, 200

Bank charges – N2, 000

Total: N4, 200.00

Access Pin Code for authorized Login into the University website (www.ansu-edu.net) shall be issued to candidates following payment at any of the branches of the banks listed above.

Candidates are to upload their recent passport photograph while registering on-line. Candidates shall also be enabled to check their results on the website.

Requirements for the Screening Examination

Candidates are to come to the examination hall with the following documents:

1. Original JAMB Result Slip.

2. Three copies of scanned Post-UTME Screening Registration Slip

3. Passport photograph,

4. Writing Materials include: HB pencils and Erasers

Prohibited Items: Mobile Phones, Calculators, Organizers and Mathematical Tables

NOTE

ANSU Post UTME Past Question and Answer for all faculties cost is N1000.

This is to inform all candidates who made Kwara State University their first and/ or second choice and who scored 180 and above in the 2012 UTME, or who are interested in exploring admission possibilities through UTME to Kwara State University, that Post –UTME  for 2012/2013 admission exercise has been scheduled as follows:

1. Monday 11th June, 2012 – First Choice candidates
2. Tuesday 12th June, 2012 – Second Choice candidates
3. Time: 9.00am
4. Venue: University Auditorium, Malete.

ii.   Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry candidates are also expected to register online, and write the Post-UTME.

B. Online Registration and Payment Instruction

1. Visit http://www.kwasu.edu.ng
2. Click “Post UTME/DE Registration”
3. Complete Post UTME/DE Registration forms, submit and print, then
4. Click on “Online Payment”
5. Click on “Start Here” and complete the payment registration form. Insert your   JAMB number where it says “Matriculation number”. Then “Submit”.
6. Click on “Step 1”.
7. Log in using your JAMB registration number and your chosen password.
8. Click on “Next Stage for Payment”.
9. Select “Fee for UTME/DE (N1,500.00) and click on “Submit”.
10. Enter the information on the ATM card you are using and click on “Make Payment”.
11. Print out payment confirmation page.

Note:

1. In case you do not have an ATM or Debit Card, please visit any bank to buy a Bank/Value Card.
2. Then go online to make the appropriate payment.
